dc.description.abstract | Metal oxide nanoparticles are the potential candidates in research area. According to the
synthesis method, precursors, conditions we can tune the properties of the nanomaterials. Here in the present work we prepared the Cr-doped zinc oxide nanoparticles using hydrothermal method. Structural analysis of prepared sample are characterised by using X-ray diffraction studies and FE-SEM analysis is used to analyse the rod like morphology of the sample. Elemental compositions are investigated using Energy Dispersive X-ray analysis. The optical properties of pristine and doped materials are studied using UV visible spectroscopy and energy band gap is also calculated. Vibrational bands are analysed by Raman spectra and Functional group identified using FTIR. Oxidations state and presence of elements are identified using XPS spectrum. Third order non linear properties of the prepared samples are studied using Z-scan method. According to increasing of concentration materials shows both saturable absorption and reverse saturable absorption. Photocatalysis properties of prepared samples are investigated using methyleneblue as model dye under sunlight and the result shows that the materials is a good photocatalytic material. | en_US |
